Kogi Council Poll: Idah NYCN Endorse Hon. Amade Egwuda Ochijenu As Idah APC Candidate

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Idah Chapter have endorsed the Transition Committee Chairman of Idah Local Government, Hon. Amade Egwuda Ochijenu as the APC flag bearer for the October 19, Council election.

The endorsement followed the resolution of the Council during their meeting held on Thursday 25th July, 2024 in Idah.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after the meeting, the Acting Coordinator of the Council, Comrade Salisu Muhammed, said the move was in view of Hon. Amade's performance withing a short period of time as Transition Committee Chairman of Idah Local Government.

Comrade Salisu described the Transition Committee Chairman as a grassroot politician who knows the pains of his people.

The NYCN Cordinator commended Hon. Amade for his open door polices and urged the people, particularly APC members to rally round him during the Party's primary, as well as the October 19th Local Government Council Election.

On his part, Organising Secretary Of the State Chapter of NYCN, Comrade Isah Abdullahi described Hon. Amade's performance as Transition Committee Chairman as impressive, saying one good turn deserves Another.

According to him, Hon. Amade's performance as Transition Committee Chairman was a pointer to the fact that he will perform beyond expectations when democratically elected as the Chairman of Idah Local Government.
