Eight Day Fidau of Baba Gimba Musa: Dignitaries Eulogise His Life Style, Prays For Peaceful Repose Of His Soul


Dignitaries from far and near on Saturday attended the eight day prayer of late Baba Gimba Sule of Post Flood Estate, Lokoja.

Along the dignitaries were Chief Imams, Islamic Scholars, retired and serving civil servants, Bassa community leaders and Associations as well as friends and associates.


Speaking at the event, the Imam of Adankolo, Muhammed Usman described death as necessary end for all, urging the people to draw closer to their Creator through good deeds.

Imam Muhammed Usman admonished everyone to acknowledge the supremacy of Allah, explaining that Allah remains the greatest, adding that he alone can give and take life.


In his remark, the Edembe One of Gadumo, Chief Yahaya Audu described the late Baba Gimba Sule as a man who stood for the truth no matter the circumstances.

Chief Yahaya Audu urged those still living to emulate his life style, particularly the family members and prayed for the peaceful repose of his soul.


Highlight was the recitation of the Holy Qur'an and special prayers for the family.

Late Baba Gimba Sule untill his death, was a retired civil servant from Kogi State Ministry of Agriculture.
