FCT PCC: Dikko Replaces Edward Onoja


The appointment of Immediate Past Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward Onoja as the FCT Commissioner for Public Complaint Commission (PCC), have been withdrawn.



With the withdrawal, the former Chairman of Bwari Area Council, Hon. Musa Dikko who is an indigene of FCT replaces Chief Edward Onoja.



Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in July 2024 appointed Chief Edward Onoja as FCT Commissioner of Public Complaints Commission.


His appointment was however greeted with rejection by FCT indigene who complained bitterly and seek for redress.

New Minimum Wage: Kogi Workers Hails Gov. Ododo For Matching Words With Action

Bashir Opaluwa Idris Civil Servants in Kogi State have expressed appreciation to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo over the payment of New Minimum wage. On Wednesday this week, workers across the state received their October salary with reflection of the approved seventy two thousand, five hundred naira by the Governor. Reacting to the development, the Director Account, Kogi State Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Alhaji Ahmed Suleiman Musa said the payment of the new minimum wage by Governor Ododo has relieved some of their problems. According to him, the development has brought joy to the workers, who have been advocating for a wage adjustment to alleviate the economic hardships they face. Aguma Bassa To Support BCDU In Promoting Cultural Heritage

By: Ernest Zhokwo  The Aguma of Bassa, Chief Williams Keke has assured of his support to Bassa Cultural Development Union, BDCU, in promoting the cultural heritage of the Area. Chief Keke gave the assurance when National Executives of Bassa Cultural Development Union paid him a traditional homage at Oguma. The traditional ruler said there was need to promote the cultural heritage of the area so as to attract tourism and development. The Aguma of Bassa called on the BDCU Executives to promote unity among the Bassa people and other tribes in the Country.
