Governor Ododo Receives Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu Assures Of His Commitment To The Development Of Idah

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has assured the All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairmanship Aspirant for Idah Local Government, Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu of his commitment to the development of the area.

Governor Ododo gave the assurance on Friday 9th August, 2024 when he received the Chairmanship Aspirant in his office in Government House, Lokoja.

The Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu in the early hours of today (Friday) visited the Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Hon. Ali Bello to express gratitude for the Governor's support and guidance throughout his journey.

Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu's meeting with the Governor is a follow-up to his earlier visit to the Governor's Chief of Staff, Hon. Ali Bello.

Speaking at the occasion, Governor Ododo expressed confidence in the ability of Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu to deliver in view of his acceptance by the people of Idah Local Government.

The Governor reassured Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu of his commitment to the development of Idah Local Government and the entire state. 

Governor Ododo advised the Chairmanship candidate not to betray the confidence bestowed on him by his people and called on the electorates to sustain their support and love for Hon. Alhaji Alhaji by coming out enmass in the forthcoming council poll to elect him.

Responding, the APC Chairmanship Candidate for Idah, Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu thanked the Governor for his warm reception and support despite the short notice and assured of his support to the current administration.

Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu noted that he was in the governor's office to appreciate him for his support and contributions so far towards him.

The Governor also suspended tax burden on the approved sum for one year. Governor Ododo made this known during the unavailing of the 70 thousand Naira minimum wage after  signing the agreement. Governor Ododo said the new Seventy Two Thousand Five hundred Naira minimum wage should take immediate effects to enable the wage cope with the current situation in the country. The Chairman Minimum wage Committee, Mr Elijah Evinemi said the agreement on the minimum wage is not a victory for any political party but for the good of the masses. FHA TO COMMENCE THE REGULARIZATION OF PROPERTY DOCUMENTS OF ITS ALLOTTEES IN LAGOS STATE AND THE FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY

The Management of Federal Housing Authority will commence  regularization of property documents of some of its allottees  in Lagos state and the Federal Capital Territory. This was sequel to the decision signed by the management of FHA under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, Honorable Oyetunde Ojo.
