HON. ALHAJI ALFA HALILU APPOINTED SECRETARY OF POLITICAL/ROYAL FATHERS COMMITTEE FOR KOGI INTERNATIONAL CARNIVAL

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu as the Secretary of the Political/Royal Fathers Committee for the First Ever Kogi International Carnival under the leadership of Hon. Bashiru Gegu, the Commissioner for Solid Minerals who was also appointed as the Chairman of the Committee.



The appointments were made during the celebration of Kogi State's 33rd anniversary and the unveiling of the Kog8i International Carnival logo at the Glass House, Kogi State Government House. 



The event was attended by dignitaries from across the state, including The Chief Servant of Kogi State, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo ably represented by the Deputy Governor, His Excellency Comr. Joel Oyibo; Dr. Ayoade Folashade Arike, Secretary To Government Of Kogi State; Hon. Wemi Jones, Commissioner for Education; DG KOSSIPA, Special Adviser on Art and Culture, Political Leaders, and stakeholders in the tourism industry.



The Kogi International Carnival is a flagship event aimed at promoting the state's rich cultural heritage and tourism potential. The carnival will showcase the state's diverse cultural traditions, music, dance, art, and cuisine. The Political/Royal Fathers Committee will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the carnival by mobilizing support from political and traditional leaders across the state.



The news of the appointment of Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu to serve this important committee as Secretary was due to his wealth of experience and expertise. This will ensure the Kogi International Carnival becomes a memorable event that will showcase the best of Kogi State to the world. 



He will work tirelessly to ensure the success of the carnival.
