As Kogi State marks its 33rd anniversary, we reflect on the remarkable journey of our beloved state, from its creation on August 27, 1991, to the present day. Over the past three decades, Kogi State has grown into a beacon of hope, unity, and development, thanks to the tireless efforts of its people and leaders.


We pay special tribute to the visionary leadership of former Governor His Excellency Yahaya Bello, whose transformative agenda propelled Kogi State into a hub of economic growth, infrastructure development, and social progress. His commitment to the welfare of the people, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, and security, has left an indelible mark on the state. His legacy continues to inspire and motivate us to strive for excellence.


We also celebrate the Excecutive Governor, His Excellency Ahmed Usman Ododo, whose dedication to the people of Kogi State has been evident in his commitment to continuity, innovation, and inclusive governance. Under his leadership, Kogi State is poised for even greater heights, with a focus on sustainable development, youth empowerment, and community engagement.


As we celebrate this milestone, we honor the resilience and determination of the Kogi people, who have remained steadfast in the face of challenges and have contributed to the state's growth and development. We acknowledge the contributions of Fomer Leaders, Civil Servants and citizens who have worked tirelessly to build our state into what it is today.


We commend the state's achievements in various sectors, including agriculture, commerce, and tourism, and recognize the potential for further growth and development. We also appreciate the efforts of our security agencies, traditional rulers, and community leaders in maintaining peace and harmony in the state.


As we look to the future, we are confident that Kogi State will continue to thrive and prosper under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo. We pledge our support and commitment to the state's development agenda and look forward to many more years of progress, peace, and prosperity for Kogi State.
