Kogi Council Polls: APC Chairmanship Candidate Pledges Inclusiveness, Unity in Idah If Elected

The All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate for the October 19th Local Council election in Idah, Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu, has promised to run an all-inclusive administration devoid of segregation if elected.

Hon. Alhaji Halilu, made the promise while addressing newsmen shortly after submitting his expression of interest and nomination form at the APC Secretariat in Lokoja.


The APC Chairmanship hopeful who is the immediate past Secretary of Idah Local Government Transition Committee, said he will not deviate from the policies and programmes of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo led administration in the State.

“I am going to run an all-inclusive government, I am not going to segregate, In all the ten wards in the council, there will be no division, enthronement of peace and progress shall be my priority”

“I will lead my people to where they want to be, I have the mandate to unite the people and inculcate a lasting legacy”

He urged the electorate to ensure total victory for the party in the forthcoming council polls by voting massively for the All Progressive Congress.
