Kogi Deputy Governor Assures Kogites Of Welfare And Infrastructural Development

Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Elder Joel Salifu Oyibo says the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo will dwell more on welfare and infrastructural development.


The Deputy Governor Elder stated this shortly after the Victory Rally on the affirmation of the Supreme Court judgment declaring Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo as the duly elected Governor of the November 2023 Governorship election in Kogi State.


Elder Joel Salifu said the declaration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has put to an end distraction, saying the Governor will be free to focus on the welfare of Kogi people. 


The Deputy Governor assured the people that the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo led government will carry everyone along in the scheme of things.


The Deputy Governor advised the people of the state to join hands with the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to move the state forward.


Elder Joel Salifu called on all stakeholders in the state to come together and work collectively with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for more dividends of democracy in the state.


The Deputy Governor expressed appreciation to the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyebe for mobilizing massively for the victory rally and assured of the commitment of the present administration for more empowerment of Youth activities in the state.


Speaking, the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyebe Congratulated the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and His Deputy, Elder Joel Salifu Oyibo on the victory at the apex court.



According to the Commissioner, the victory rally was a testimony of the good work of the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and called on the people of the state especially the youths to continue to support the present administration.


APC party Supporters, Youths and Women leaders and their followers participated in the rally held at Lokoja the State Capital.

The Management of Federal Housing Authority will commence  regularization of property documents of some of its allottees  in Lagos state and the Federal Capital Territory. This was sequel to the decision signed by the management of FHA under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, Honorable Oyetunde Ojo.
