Kogi Guber Verdict: A Confirmation Of Wishes And Aspirations Of Kogites- Mrs. Comfort Azubike Arokoyo


The President, Kogi Women Farmers Initiative (KWFI) Mrs Comfort Azubike Arokoyo has described the victory of Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo at the Supreme Court as a confirmation of the wishes and aspirations of the people of Kogi state.


Mrs Comfort Azubike stated this shortly after the supreme court judgement affirming Governor Usman Ododo as winner of the 2023 Governorship Election in Kogi state.


She congratulated Governor Ododo and  his deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo on their victory at the supreme court and felicitated with the entire people of Kogi state on the well deserved victory.


The KWFI further stated that the supreme court judgement has finally put to rest all doubts on the legitimate occupant of the seat of power in Kogi and commended Governor Ododo for paying adequate attention on civil servants and pensioners welfare, addressing insecurity, youth and women empowerment and revolutionizing the Agricultural sector.


She urged oppositions and kogites to join hands with Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo for the Social -Economic growth of the state and prayed God to protect and guide the Governor and his entire cabinet for a better Kogi state.

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has approved Seventy Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira Minimum Wage  for Kogi Civil Servants with Immediate effect. The Governor also suspended tax burden on the approved sum for one year. Governor Ododo made this known during the unavailing of the 70 thousand Naira minimum wage after  signing the agreement. Governor Ododo said the new Seventy Two Thousand Five hundred Naira minimum wage should take immediate effects to enable the wage cope with the current situation in the country. The Chairman Minimum wage Committee, Mr Elijah Evinemi said the agreement on the minimum wage is not a victory for any political party but for the good of the masses. FHA TO COMMENCE THE REGULARIZATION OF PROPERTY DOCUMENTS OF ITS ALLOTTEES IN LAGOS STATE AND THE FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY

The Management of Federal Housing Authority will commence  regularization of property documents of some of its allottees  in Lagos state and the Federal Capital Territory. This was sequel to the decision signed by the management of FHA under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, Honorable Oyetunde Ojo.
