Sheikh Hassan Applaud Governor Ododo for Approval of Rehabilitation of Road Network in His Area
The convener of Ojo -Arahman Kufeyekun Islamic Prayer in Lokoja, Alh Sheikh Hassan Mukailu has commended the Executive Governor of Kogi state, His Excellency, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo for the timely approval for the rehabilitation of road network in his area.
Sheikh Hassan made the commendation after the commissioning of Jumat mosque built by his organization located at his residence.
The Governor who was represented by his Deputy,His Excellency,Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo stated that, the governor approval of the road leading to the mosque was part of his desires to make life meaningful to the people,stressing that, governor Ododo graduated from the former governor school of mentorship and urge the good people of the state to continue in their support for continue progress and development of the state.
The Chairman of the occasion who's also the Chairman of Dekina LGA traditional rulers, HRH Ejeh Dekina, Alh Usman Obaje appreciates the efforts of Alh Sheikh Hassan Mukailu for his contribution to the Muslim community and the society, adding that the traditional rulers in the state are proud of his commitment to societal development most importantly in the area of Islamic and English education as the nursery, primary and secondary school established by the organization will go along way to complement government efforts and urge him to continue to sustain the gesture for the good of all.
The Chairman of Jamatu Nassir Islam ( JNI) in the state,His Excellency, Ambassador Usman Bello who was the key note speaker along with the secretary of the organization Alh Adeboye urges Muslims to abide by the teaching of Allah which is peace among men and others.
He appreciates Sheikh Hassan for his loudable projects and pray for Allah to guide him to fruition.
Apart from the commissioning of the mosque,other program witnessed are:
The celebration of his birthday, 14th years anniversary of his prayer,graduation of some students of Islamic studies, Empowerment of over 2,000 women and children among others.
All traditional rulers within and around Lokoja metropolis were present including shiekhs, Imams, Azakirus among others from across the state and Abuja added much colour to the celebration.
