HON. ALHAJI ALFA HALILU LEADS IDAH APC STALWARTS IN A GRAND WELCOME FOR DEPUTY GOVERNOR'S RETURN TO EASTERN SENATORIAL DISTRICT

Today 24th August, 2024, Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu, APC Chairmanship Standard Bearer for Idah Local Government Area, led a delegation of APC stalwarts from Idah to welcome the Deputy Governor, His Excellency Joel Oyibo, back to the Eastern Senatorial District. The Deputy Governor returned to celebrate the Supreme Court's landmark victory, affirming the election of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and himself.



The APC stalwarts from Idah, in a show of solidarity and unity, joined their colleagues from across the Senatorial District to receive the Deputy Governor. This grand welcome is a testament to the party's strength and cohesion in the region.



Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu expressed his delight in welcoming the Deputy Governor, saying, "Today, we gather to celebrate a significant milestone in the political annal of our state. The Supreme Court's victory is a vindication of the people's mandate, and we are honored to have our Deputy Governor back in our midst to share in this joy. This victory is a testament to the leadership and vision of our Governor and Deputy Governor, and we pledge our continued support for their administration."



The event was marked by jubilation, with party members and supporters expressing their gratitude to the Deputy Governor for his dedication to the people of Kogi State. The welcome ceremony was a demonstration of the party's unity and strength, showcasing the APC's commitment to good governance and development in the state.



Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu further emphasized, "We are proud to be part of this administration, and we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the success of our party and the prosperity of our people. We congratulate our Deputy Governor on this well-deserved victory and look forward to continued progress and development of our state."



Dignitaries present include, Hon. Commissioner for Agriculture, Commissioner for Youths and Sports, DG Kogi Watch and Artilleries, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Royal Fathers and Other Party faithfuls across the eastern flank of Kogi State.

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has approved Seventy Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira Minimum Wage  for Kogi Civil Servants with Immediate effect. The Governor also suspended tax burden on the approved sum for one year. Governor Ododo made this known during the unavailing of the 70 thousand Naira minimum wage after  signing the agreement. Governor Ododo said the new Seventy Two Thousand Five hundred Naira minimum wage should take immediate effects to enable the wage cope with the current situation in the country. The Chairman Minimum wage Committee, Mr Elijah Evinemi said the agreement on the minimum wage is not a victory for any political party but for the good of the masses. He appreciated the governor for giving the committee free hand to operate and achieve a common goal.

FHA TO COMMENCE THE REGULARIZATION OF PROPERTY DOCUMENTS OF ITS ALLOTTEES IN LAGOS STATE AND THE FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY

The Management of Federal Housing Authority will commence  regularization of property documents of some of its allottees  in Lagos state and the Federal Capital Territory. This was sequel to the decision signed by the management of FHA under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, Honorable Oyetunde Ojo. The exercise is to afford allottees in FHA estates  in these zones who built without approval, carried out development outside the granted approval, engaged in unapproved land annexation , alteration of prototype houses, deviation from approved building plans, unapproved mergers and subdivision, the opportunity to regularize their property documents.  The affected estates in Lagos state are: Festac Town, Gowon estate, Isheri Olofin 1, Isheri Olofin 2, Satellite 2 Navy Town, Satellite 6,  Egan A, Egan B, Egan ADB, Egan E, Egan F, Esuti (Right side), Esuti (Left side) Abesan 1,2, 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10A,IOB,11,12 and 13.
