Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Youth Mobilization, Hon. Ali Abdulkadir Arome Keller says the Supreme Court judgement which upheld the election of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo as the duly elected Governor of Kogi State would further boost good governance and development in the state.

The apex court on Friday affirmed Governor Ododo’s victory in the November 11 Off-Cycle governorship election in the state and dismissed the petition filed by Muritala Yakubu Ajaka and his party, the Social Democratic Party (SDP).

Hon. Keller in a statement said Governor Ododo’s overwhelming victory at the court has further validated the obvious truth that the Governor won the November 11, 2023 election.

The Senior Special Assistant expressed unwavering optimism that Ododo’s affirmation will serve as a catalyst, propelling him to deliver even more profound dividends of democracy and exemplary services to the good people of Kogi State and Nigeria.

Hon. Keller who described the victory as deserving, said the judgment had put the opposition to silence despite boasting that they would unseat the Governor.

He said “The opposition parties have lost again. This victory is for democracy and of course another source of encouragement to our hardworking Governor to continue his good works till 2027.

“I rejoice with our leader, the governor and my prayer is that the Almighty God will continue to strengthen him to record greater achievements in the state. What is left is for the opposition to join hands with Governor Ododo to develop the state, anything less is another share waste of time.
