UPDATED: One year in Office - Distribution of Palliatives to Kogites by Hon. Minister, Steel Development totalling 2,400 Bags of Rice and 1,200 bags of Fertilisers Across Kogi State


In furtherance to the Renewed Hope Agenda on Food Security of the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, the Honourable Minister, Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu as part of activities to commemorate his 1-year in office will distribute 2,400 bags of rice and 1,200 bags of fertilisers as palliatives to the masses as well as eligible farmers across the 21 local government areas of Kogi State.


This is part of the continuous effort by the Honourable Minister, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu to ensure that Kogites benefit from all the Renewed Hope initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Administration.


While the bags of rice will be distributed to indigenes across the three senatorial districts of Kogi State, the fertilisers will ONLY be for *ELIGIBLE* farmers across the state.


If you are a farmer and you fall within this category, please contact the Zonal Coordinators, which include representatives of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria (ALFAN) across the three Senatorial districts for inclusion and necessary action. The distribution of the rice will cut across traditional, political and religious leaders as well as voters and ordinary citizens across the 21 local government areas of Kogi State.
