HON. ALHAJI ALFA HALILU INAUGURATES SOLAR MOTORIZED BOREHOLE FACILITATED BY SENATOR JIBRIN ISA ECHOCHO IN EGA, IDAH LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA

Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu today, September 6th, 2024 inaugurated a solar motorized borehole facilitated by Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho, the Senator representing Kogi East Senatorial District, in Ega, Idah Local Government Area. This landmark project is a testament to Senator Echocho's unwavering commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises and giving back to the society.



The borehole, which provides clean water for the community, is a significant milestone in the efforts to improve access to basic amenities in the area. This project will have a positive impact on the health, well-being, and quality of life of the people in Ega and surrounding communities.



Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu showered praises on Senator Echocho, saying, "Today, we gather to witness the realization of another promise made by our distinguished Senator. This borehole is a shining example of Senator Echocho's dedication to the well-being of his constituents. His selfless efforts to provide clean water, improve healthcare, and enhance the quality of life for our people are truly commendable. We are grateful for his leadership and vision."



Furthermore, Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu assured the people of Idah that Senator Jibrin Isah Echocho is committed to commencing the Ega Erosion Project, which he promised to undertake. "I want to assure the good people of Idah that Senator Echocho is working tirelessly to ensure the Ega Erosion Project kicks off soon. This project will not only address the environmental challenges faced by our community but also boost economic activities and improve the standard of living. We have no doubt that Senator Echocho will deliver on this promise, just as he has done with this borehole project."



The people of Idah have expressed their gratitude to Senator Echocho for his unwavering commitment to their well-being. They have also praised Hon. Gov. Ododo Approves Seventy Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira Minimum Wage for Kogi Workers

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has approved Seventy Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira Minimum Wage  for Kogi Civil Servants with Immediate effect. The Governor also suspended tax burden on the approved sum for one year. Governor Ododo made this known during the unavailing of the 70 thousand Naira minimum wage after  signing the agreement. Governor Ododo said the new Seventy Two Thousand Five hundred Naira minimum wage should take immediate effects to enable the wage cope with the current situation in the country. The Chairman Minimum wage Committee, Mr Elijah Evinemi said the agreement on the minimum wage is not a victory for any political party but for the good of the masses. He appreciated the governor for giving the committee free hand to operate and achieve a common goal.
